FISE 2010 MTB Slopestyle

25-05-2010 : FISE 2010 MTB Slopestyle

Here we go, FISE Montpellier is over for 2010, and it’s time to remove everything, debriefing, and FISE EXPERIENCE preparation, which is going to stop at Clermont Ferrand the 5th and 6th of June, for the first strike of the French Slopestyle Tour.
For Montpellier, the only words are THANK YOU. Thanks to all the riders who come from anyway, to ride, and support us despite the rain and the wind.
They were more than one hundred expert and pro to enter the contest. Thanks also to our partners, especially Young Talent Industries, Winbike and Photofinish, which provide us expert podiums. And last but not least, thanks to all the people who came watch the slopestyle, under the rain, against the wind, the Sunday at 8:00 am, the delays, the sabotages, and more.
One of the most remarkable point is the quality of the trail design and built by Pierre Edouard Ferry, where everyone enjoyed to ride and trick.
On the Saturday and Sunday, we’ll never forgot the no foot cancan off the bridge for Jamie Goldamnn ; Mike Montgommery’s front flip up the 4m ramp and his perfect 720 during the best trick. The battle between Yannick Granieri and Aguado Alba Bienvenido, based on flipwhip and frontflips variation, will stay also in memories. The rookie of the year will definitely be Thomas Genon, who killed the line Sunday morning at 9:00am. About experts… we can’t found our words… The level was too far away, and everybody was stocked by the finals.
Thomas Lemoine who tried to flip the roadgap ; Valentin Izarn, so easy on the track ; Kevin Meyer for his engagement, and for sure Gaspard Weulersse, who hits the 3rd on his first contest.
Those 3 kids weren’t scary to drop the bridge on Sunday morning between the pros, and for sure, they’ll rock with their new Young Talent Industries bikes.
